Chessbase News — homepage of one of the two premier database programs — comprehensive news and more!

Chess Assistant (Covekta.com) — Chess Assistant Light has several auxiliary programs: the company points you to the base program and suggests the addition of several support programs. On the same page are some demo versions of their tactics training suite and their online magazine.

Chessgames.com — lists ongoing and recent events … in addition to short summaries of the events you can read, they offer you PGN files of games you can download to paste into documents or databases! This Week in Chess (TWIC) — offers a plethora of links to the past, present and future as well as many features, products, books.

NewInChess.com — The website of a prestigious Chess Magazine lets you scan hundreds of previous articles by subject or date! The best feature is a link to their huge database …
